Starting with this, I'm hoping things can only get better. Tallinn (59.44 lat, 24.75 lon), Estonia (northernmost Baltic state), Europe, is a mixture of grey Soviet chic, quaint but beautiful Hanseatic pointy-roof architecture, modern Nordic cool, wintry slush and summer green.

Wwlcome aboard! I'm really looking forward to getting to know Tallinn. My Daughter went there when she was on a Trip to Finland with the Girl Guides, so all her phoos have is some of the interesting bits as backdrop to her friends. This should set the record straight!

Many years ago, when my family lived in Brussels Belgium, my daughter had a good friend from Estonia. As a result it will be of special interest to see the photos you post.
