Church of St Thingamajig in the Fields. Let's say meadow, or half-hour's graze for one goat. Today. Estonia is perhaps the least religious country in the world, certainly with the lowest church frequentation in Europe. So buildings like these (capacity 1 preacher, 17 faithful, 1 tintinnabulist) are rare and increasingly dwarfed by the might of Mammon. Good thing too. Posted by Picasa

That is interesting, less emphasis on religion, are the surrounding areas like this or is it only in the city?

Tallinn is undergoing a major building phase. Likely to continue until prices exceed those of Helsinki. Interesting, sharp, smart country with sensible taxation (no CTT, income tax 23% going down 1%/yr till 20 or maybe 18%, currently no corporation tax on profits reinvested, etc) make it a good place to be. In the country, you will still find some people ploughing with horses, and some areas absolutely cut off during winter. But they probably have wifi...

But really, Simon, what would be so bad with some religion in the country? :):)
