Here we have the re-vamped botanical gardens. Estonia is possibly one of the best examples of post-Soviet independence. Corruption is very low (although the country's small size makes the inevitable nepotism of any power network more visible, but this is not, in itself, necessarily bad in the long term) and Estonians have a very strong sense of political direction. The may not always agree, but they are all moving forward. If any European country becomes known for high-tech innovation, for financial and fiscal efficiency, it's here. And despite the steel and glass of business, they'll keep on planting trees. Posted by Picasa
