That's funny, the Myxomycetes here are all Catholics.
In Catalonia people in the know (the beret-wearing over-70s brigade) reckon just over half of the 200 or so types of fungi are edible, but then again so is cardboard.
What's also interesting is how some of the most delicious fungis also have deadly dopplegangers. Who said nature didn't have a sense of humour?
